Kelly Minner attended DeSales University and majored in Theater Arts, also receiving her teaching certificate in English. After graduating from DeSales, she taught for three years at Central Catholic High School before moving on to work at the Lehigh Valley Performing Arts High School. She is now the academic dean there, and also teaches theater. Kelly has always had a knack for the stage, and loves the theater and performing for people.

In 2004 Kelly was a contestant on NBC's television show The Biggest Loser, and placed 3rd after losing 79 pounds.
